Control of isolated microgrid based renewable energy generation using PID controller

<p>This paper investigates optimal PID controller tuning using particle swarm optimization for frequency control in the microgrid system. The proposed composed of renewable sources such as wind turbine generation and solar system with diesel engine generator storage systems battery, flywheel, aqua electrolyze, fuel cell. based on energy faces different challenges operation stability due to stochastic nature radiation speed that depend upon weather conditions. Among these challenges, power deviations are affected by sudden unbalance between load which require a suitable adequate regulation. principal objective this study is reduce deviation use optimized its simplicity flexibility overcome kind issues. simulation results show better performances robustness against disturbances generations comparison genetic algorithm.</p>
